Personal Injury

If you have been injured in an accident, you may have many questions. When can I go back to work? How will I pay my medical expenses? Who will cover the repair bills? At Prime Law Firm, we can relieve those concerns by fully explaining your rights and the legal remedies available to you. It should be comforting to know that compensation may be awarded in a successful injury claim that covers lost wages, medical bills, property damage, pain and suffering and other losses. Additionally, we handle all cases on a contingency basis, which means that you will not pay any attorney's fees until we win your case.

Medical Malpractice

It's an urban legend that doctors take an oath to “first, do no harm.” In fact, there is no such requirement for graduating from medical school. On the other hand, doctors and other medical professionals have a duty to provide the appropriate standard of care to their patients. A medical malpractice lawsuit arises when a patient is injured as a result of a doctor's failure to provide that level of care, or the type of care that a reasonably skilled physician would have provided under the same circumstances.

What truly sets us apart from most law firms, however, is the client experience. We believe that an educated client is our best client and encourage clients to participate in their case. Our legal team is readily available to respond to questions and concerns through our one-of-a-kind 24/7 client service hotline. Finally, we offer free case evaluations — we will provide you with an honest assessment and only pursue an injury claim if doing so is in your best interests.

Fighting for the Rights of the Injured

At Prime Law Firm, our mission is to fight for the rights of injury victims and to hold negligent parties accountable. If you have been injured in a car accident, harmed by a defective product, injured during a surgical procedure or harmed in any other type of accident, we can help. We will offer you knowledge, compassion and always stand by your side. Our attorneys will leverage their legal knowledge and negotiating skills to help you obtain just compensation. Although no amount of money can make up for an injury, the road to recovery starts here.

Can I Sue My Doctor?

In order to pursue a medical malpractice claim in New York, it is not enough to show that the doctor made a mistake. In addition to proving negligence, a medical expert must attest that the defendant deviated from the appropriate standard of care. Above all, it takes a skilled attorney, with insight into the opposition's tactics, to bring a successful claim. We believe that medical professionals must be held accountable for their incompetence and negligence.

How do I know if I have a valid injury claim?

Generally, in order to have a valid claim you must be able to demonstrate that the other party was negligent for breaching a duty of care not to cause injuries to others. As an example, there are four elements of negligence that must be proven in a car accident claim: (1) the other driver had a duty of care to operate his or her vehicle in a safe manner, (2) the other driver breached this duty, (3) the actions of the other driver caused the accident, and (4) the accident directly caused injuries or monetary losses. Our highly skilled attorneys know how to convince a jury, or a claims adjuster, of another party's negligence.
